New World Disorder 7 - Flying high again ging einmal mehr an die Grenzen des Möglichen im Mountainbiking. Als ich mir gestern Abend den 8 Teil in den Player gelegt hatte konnte ich meinen Augen nicht mehr trauen. Dank Derek Westerlund ist mein Essen kalt geworden, so gebannt musste ich auf den Bildschirm starren ! Der Gründer von Freeride Entertainment, bringt zum zehnjährigen Firmenjubiläum mit der neuen Episode von New World Disorder einen Film unter die Mountainbike Gemeinde, der uns alle umhaun wird. Der Name ist Programm ... Mit Smack Down erleben wir nie dagewesene Kamerafahrten und atemberaubende Einstellungen. Härtere MTB-Aktion hat man zuvor noch nicht gesehen. Und das Konzept "Höher, Weiter, Schneller und Härter" geht auf. Kein anderer Film macht mehr Lust aufs Biken wie dieser. Wir erleben Brian Lopes und Ritchie Schley beim Helibiken, Fabien Barrel und Cedric Garcia geben sich derbste Downhill-Action und Andreu Lacondeguy der den ersten Part auf dem Video hat zeigt das stylischte und technische Biken ever ... Flipwhips, Gaps, Bunny Hops über Autos, Handplants auf Kamelen in Israel ... Aufnahmen von den wichtigsten Contests des Jahres (Crankworx, Nissan Qashqai Challenge, Bearclaw Invitational) runden die Produktion ab. Death or Glory reeks of the same hand picked juju juice berries of previous Rankin releases, only it's even more focused. The World Cups featured start with Vigo and continues with Fort William, Willengen, Mont St Anne, Balneario Camboriu in Brazil and to top off the comp stuff the World Champs in New Zealand. Filling in the gaps we have a killer Akrigg section from Japan, some sick riding in Glentress and the Isle of Skye. Hardtails feature at the insane Charge Jam as well as the Welsh trail centres, Innerleithen and some great filming from New Zealand.
